Pixel Knight TR-332 Wireless TTL Flash Triggers Review

Recently I took a chance and purchased the Pixel Knight TR-332 Wireless TTL Flash Triggers from Gadget Infinity and thought I’d give them a shot on my 20D.  The danger here is that all of the documentation says that they don’t work on the 20D (or any camera with less than a DIGIC III chipset), but the GI site said they’d work, so what the hell, right?

Yeah.  Not so much.  TTL works, but it’s incredibly unreliable.  Using a manual power flash with these triggers on anything less than a full power dump is useless.  However, shutter speeds up to 1/8000th of a second actually work!!

Here’s two videos.  One is my initial review and tests (above), and the second is a quick follow-up after I tested on a 50D (below).  Interesting findings, to say the least.

Do you have a review or any experience with these triggers?  If so, post ’em in the comments below!
